The first Street Games Doorstep Sports Club in Glossop - NEW Venue soon to be announced

Who can take part?

Male and Females who are interested in taking part in a variety of sport and fitness activities that change from week to week - different sports and games on offer each week. The atmosphere is fun and friendly and is open to all abilities.

When and where will it take place? How much will it cost?

What type of activities?

Each week there will be a different programme of activities  ranging from:

Racquet Sports, Volleyball, Ultimate Frisbee and variations of other sports. The environment will be fun, informal and social with the opportunity to try new activities and meet new people. There will be music playing in the session to promote the relaxed environment.

Street Games gives young people exactly what they’re seeking – the chance to enjoy sport and aspire to greater things without the pressure of performing at a high level. The enthusiasm that this breeds leads to an increase in sports participation and a recognition of the enjoyment that can be gained from taking part in sport. Sport has the power to inspire. Through the right type of sport, young people can find self-confidence, new skills and experience the joys of teamwork, trust and self-expression.
